A very pretty faux bamboo carved wooden chair with rattan seat. The wood has been hand carved to imitate bamboo, a trend which was very fashionable in the 19th century. It would look lovely as an alternative to a side table next to a bed or as a feature item with stacked books and a lamp. The chair has been imported from the USA and is in wonderful condition - there is no damage to the wicker which is very unusual for an item of this age.
